Ally Kate is a 3 year old pug, who was surrendered by her owners in Tupelo, MS. The shelter said it was an older couple who couldn't take care of her anymore. Our vet, however, thinks she might have been a puppy mill dog because shes had puppies, probably several times in her young life. But, shes in good health, heartworm negative (yeah!) and sweet as pie.
She joins Precious, a brindle pug mix (6 years old) and Toby, our 90ish lb lab mix whos 4.
Shes pretty much not left my side except for a couple of times I let Jimmy or Hannah keep an eye on her (she cant jump or run right now because she was just spayed). She naps alot, she snorts at lot, and she snores so LOUD!
She's already a part of the family. Toby, even though he's the largest, is the most submissive, so she already tells him what to do. Precious was fine with her...UNTIL this morning. In the morning since Precious has joined us, Jimmy has picked her up and put her in the bed with us when the alarm goes off for our snooze time (I know, I know but we love our 2 snoozes) and she gets her petting...well this morning we got Ally Kate in on the love, and Precious was NOT happy about that. She growled at her a lil bit and then left. It was pretty stinkin' funny.
